Playing MicroField
Can I play on my own?
Naturally occurring organisms and research tasks let you progress without nearby players. If you opt into sharing, you can encounter organisms left by other players at shared places.
Do I need to allow location all the time?
The app does not request Always location access. It uses location for real-world play and continues in the background only for a walk you start. You can also try a demo without location access.
Can walking count while the app is closed?
Optional walking integration can turn steps and estimated distance available on your iPhone into game resources. Walking data alone does not place organisms along your real route.
Do I need an account?
You can start as a guest. Sharing is also optional. Guest progress is saved on your device and may be lost if you delete the app.
What happens when my Micro is infected?
Other Micros can lower your in-game research efficiency. Use care to recover and gain immunity for later exploration. These are fictional game mechanics, unrelated to real infections or health.
Where will ads appear?
Ad delivery is being prepared. When available, banner ads will appear only in the archive for adults aged 18 or older who separately enable them after reading the advertising notice. Ads can be turned off in Settings.
Before you play
For ages 13 and older. Minors need a parent or guardian’s permission under local law. Advertising delivery is being prepared. This website has no ads or audience analytics.
